Amendment of Mutual Fund Regulations Announcement

Pursuant to Article 5 of Law 4099/2012, ALPHA TRUST Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Fund Management S.A. hereby announces that following decision No. 244/28.8.2015 (Ref. No. 2941/31.8.2015) of the Head of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission’s Directorate of Capital Market Intermediaries, permission was granted to amend the regulations of the following mutual funds which we manage:

The amendments to the mutual fund regulations which were approved, relate to the following matters:

1. Article 1(1) and (2) has been amended for all mutual funds under our management which are referred to above. Those articles relate to the Company, the custodian and their names. More specifically, the Company’s corporate name is now ALPHA TRUST MUTUAL FUND AND ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT FUND MANAGEMENT S.A. and its trade name changes from ALPHA TRUST MFMC to ALPHA TRUST, and all other articles of the regulations are adjusted accordingly. The Custodian is PIRAEUS BANK S.A. Moreover, Article 3 -which relates to investment risk- is also amended for all mutual funds under our management.
2. The name of the Company’s balanced mutual funds is changed so as to remove the word ‘Domestic’ and consequently the funds ALPHA TRUST EUROSTAR Domestic Balanced Fund, THE ECONOMISTS OCCUPATIONAL PENSION FUND Domestic Balanced Fund and INTERLIFE Domestic Balanced Fund are renamed ALPHA TRUST EUROSTAR Balanced Fund, THE ECONOMISTS OCCUPATIONAL PENSION FUND Balanced Fund and INTERLIFE Balanced Fund, and the requisite changes are made to Article 3 on investment purpose – investment policy by deleting all references to investment in the instruments of issuers whose registered offices are in Greece.
3. The names of the funds GENIKI Domestic Bond Fund and GENIKI Euro Money Market Fund - Short Term are amended to ALPHA TRUST Domestic Bond Fund and ALPHA TRUST Euro Money Market Fund - Short Term.
4. For the funds ALPHA TRUST NEW STRATEGY Domestic Equity Fund, ALPHA TRUST GLOBAL LEADERS Foreign Equity Fund, THE ECONOMISTS OCCUPATIONAL PENSION FUND Domestic Balanced Fund, INTERLIFE Domestic Balanced Fund and GENIKI Domestic Bond Fund, the European Financial Stability Fund (EFSF) and any authority to be established in the future with a related purpose is inserted into Article 4(10) among the international organisations which issue or provide guarantees for transferable securities and money market instruments in which the funds can invest more than 35% of their assets.
5. The text relating to the first management period is deleted from Article 2(5) of the regulations for the funds ΤΕΑ INTERAMERICAN Global Balanced Fund of Funds and ALPHA TRUST ECLECTIC Fund of Funds – Balanced.

Note that the level of investment risk has been redefined for the following mutual funds: ALPHA TRUST HELLENIC EQUITY FUND, ALPHA TRUST NEW STRATEGY Domestic Equity Fund, THE ECONOMISTS OCCUPATIONAL PENSION FUND Domestic Balanced Fund, INTERLIFE Balanced and ALPHA TRUST Domestic Bond fund.

The new approved regulations of those mutual funds, whose custodian is now PIRAEUS BANK S.A., are available from the company’s offices, authorised agents of ALPHA TRUST or in electronic format from the company’s website www.alphatrust.gr.
