ALPHA TRUST Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Fund Management S.A., listed on the Alternative Market (EN.A), published today its financial results for the Half Year 2021.

On a group level, the turnover presented growth of 12.93%, standing at 2,915,737 euros compared to 2,581,912 euros of H1 2020.

Group earnings before tax reached 451,668 euros compared to 27,232 euros in H1 2020.

The profitability net of tax stood at 320,612 euros compared to losses of 77,547 euros in H1 2020.

The CEO of ALPHA TRUST, Mr. Chris Aesopos, commented the following:

“During the first half of the year, the positive performances of our clients’ portfolios, both Private and Institutional, have been reflected in our company results. At the same time, our costs remained contained despite our continual investing and new hirings, which contributed to our group profits. The picture for the current quarter remains the same. Certainly, the increased asset prices, the possibility of inflation not being transitory, as well as the uncertainties stemming from the duration of the pandemic, restrain the optimism from the group financial results that have exceeded our expectations.  Last but not least, we have started the process of listing ALPHA TRUST shares to the Main Market of the Athens Stock Exchange and the Underwriter will be appointed in the month of September.”
